This work was in progress on September 11, 2001.
It is a memorial for those lost that day and all who have suffered such loss.

"Threshold of a Singularity – a Memorial, temporal aspect" (1989),

A drop of water falls from the hanging glass vessel above into a pan of water on the floor. The motion of the water is seen expanding and contracting on the spectral, holographic panel.

Light, time and space as we know it vanishes at the edge of a black hole, its event horizon. At the edge of our awareness is a state of mind where reason falls away to remnants of memories and dreams. Beyond that we cannot go. This is a memorial for my father.
